温州大学国际教育学院简介

温州大学国际教育学院(留学生教育与管理部)成立于2006年，是学校来华留学生招生、通识教育和日常管理的归口单位。学院以“得天下英才而育之，培养世界温州通；融温大英才于全球，赋能温州通世界”为办学宗旨，积极融入国家“一带一路”倡仪，探索教育对外开放新路径，助力温州打造“千年商港·幸福温州”。学院量质并举，全力打造“留学温大”品牌，助力学校“双一流”建设和教育国际化发展，不断提升温州大学的国际知名度和影响力。2025年，学校以B等级的优秀成绩通过教育部来华留学生高等教育质量认证（初次认证），获得6年认证有效期。

学院现有教职工32人，专任教师中博士占75%,有海外学习工作经历的教师占56%。现有来自美国、加拿大、印尼、日本、 俄罗斯等近90个国家的国际学生近800人，各类毕业生13000余人，近年来国际生留温就业、创业人数不断攀升。学院设有国际中文教育专业硕士点，累计培养国际中文教育专业国内外硕士生150余名。学院大力推进海内外实习实践基地建设，已与海内外高校、华文学校、机构、企业共建有实习实践基地30余个。

学院开设面向国际学生的商务汉语专业、与意大利锡耶纳大学、泰国东方大学、泰国纳瑞轩大学合作举办本科学历教育联合培养项目；积极对接教育部中外语言交流合作中心，承接“汉语桥”、国际中文教育创新项目、华文教师培训等项目，形成了以政府项目、国际合作为发力点的，高质量、内涵式发展模式。

学院是浙江省首批国际学生国情教育名师工作室建设单位，长期以来坚持将地方及学校特色转化为国际学生国情教育优势，紧扣时代与社会热点，坚持从国际学生国情教育的适应性、融合性、阶梯性三个目标系统构建国情教育的课程体系及实践体系，打造出“三位、四维、五有、六度”的国情教育体系。

学院充分发挥国际中文教育优势，以语言出海为路径，全面助力浙企海外高质量发展。连续举办五期“温州大学青山班”，为青山实业印尼籍员工提供订单式“中文+职业”培训；校企合作共建的“温州大学印尼青山丝路学院”获批为浙江省“一带一路‘丝路学院’”。

国际教育学院坚持推动来华留学教育的提质增效，全力打造浙南地区知名来华留学教育中心，为把温州大学建设成国内一流、国际知名，特色鲜明的高水平研究教学型大学贡献力量!

College Profile

Overview

Established in 2006, the College of International Education (CIE), also known as the Department of Overseas Student Education and Administration, serves as the central hub for recruitment, general education, and management of international students at Wenzhou University. With a mission to cultivate global talent and bridge Wenzhou with the world, CIE contributes to national initiatives like the Belt and Road by pioneering new international education models and supporting Wenzhou’s development into a “Millennium-old Commercial Port and Happy Wenzhou.” The College prioritizes both scale and quality in building the “Study at Wenzhou University” brand, advancing the university’s “Double First-Class” initiative and enhancing its international profile. This commitment to excellence was affirmed in 2025, when CIE earned a “Grade B” in the Ministry of Education’s quality certification, securing a six-year accreditation.

Our Community

Faculty & Staff: We have a team of 32, with 75% holding doctoral degrees and 56% having valuable international experience.

Student Body: We host a diverse community of nearly 800 students from over 90 countries, including the USA, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, and Russia. To date, we have over 13,000 alumni worldwide, with a continuously rising number choosing to work or start businesses in Wenzhou in recent years.

Academics: We offer a Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) that has trained over 150 graduates, alongside a dedicated Business Chinese Bachelor’s program for international students. We also run joint undergraduate degree programs in partnership with the University of Siena (Italy), Burapha University, and Naresuan University (Thailand).

Partnerships & Impact

We have built a network of over 30 internship and practice bases with universities and schools in China and abroad. Our key partnership with the Center for Language Education and Cooperation supports flagship initiatives such as the “Chinese Bridge” language camps, innovative programs in Chinese education, and professional teacher training.

CIE was selected as one of Zhejiang Province’s first pilot units for a “Master Studio for International Students’ Studies on China.” For years, the College has excelled at integrating local and institutional distinctives into this program. By weaving in contemporary social issues and focusing on three core objectives—adaptability, integration, and progressive learning—it has built a comprehensive curriculum and practice framework, forming a distinctive, multi-tiered, and far-reaching educational model.

CIE leverages its expertise in International Chinese Education to support Zhejiang enterprises in global expansion through language and cultural programs. A flagship initiative, the “Wenzhou University Tsingshan Class,” has provided tailored “Chinese + Vocational” training for Indonesian employees of Tsingshan Group across five sessions. This successful university-industry partnership led to the provincially accredited “Wenzhou University-Tsingshan Silk Road College.”

Our Vision

CIE is dedicated to enhancing the quality and impact of international education. We aim to build a leading study center in southern Zhejiang and contribute to Wenzhou University’s vision of becoming a top-tier, internationally recognized, and distinctive research and teaching institution.
